DISCOVER REST SOFTGELS

Deep, uninterrupted rest is powerfully restorative

REST Softgels are a powerful blend of CBD and terpenes specifically formulated to make restless nights a thing of the past.  We use pure, clean Supercritical CO2 extraction using the entire hemp plant, isolating parts of the plant that have stronger concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes.
Each easy-to-swallow softgel contains 25mg of potent Full Spectrum CBD and a full panel of terpenes . Make REST CBD a part of your nightly wind-down routine.  Wake up refreshed and ready, without the ‘morning fogginess’!

Have you ever wondered how CBD works? A large part of why CBD is so effective is thanks to your own Endocannabinoid System, and cannabinoid receptors found all over your body. What are cannabinoids, and why do they help so many people sleep so soundly?

Hemp plants contain compounds that give them unique properties; cannabinoids are some of those compounds. Phytocannabinoids are cannabinoids that develop specifically in plants and can influence wellness benefits. Your body also produces its own cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids, or endogenous cannabinoids. The endocannabinoid system (ECS) exists throughout the body –  in the muscles, brain, and circulating cells — and it influences different bodily functions, such as digestive processes, mood, and stress levels, all of which are major contributors to a good night’s sleep. Endocannabinoids are formed as needed in the parts of the body where they are required. Their major role is to regulate the production of dopamine, serotonin, and other hormonal and chemicals that are so critical to a restful sleep cycle.  CBD is so effective in part because it mimics our own endocannabinoids in our bodies. Consuming hemp and CBD products introduces these effective Phytocannabinoids into the body, where the brain recognizes them and allows them to affect and positively impact these functions, resulting in improved well-being and improved sleep quality.

INGREDIENTS:

There are only two ingredients in our CBD product:

Supercritical CO2 Extracted (SCFE) CBD that has a Complete Extract (CECO) of over 50% from the entire Cannabis Sativa Hemp plant. This product is grown and processed in the United States and is Non-GMO and Pesticide-Free. Hemp has only very small amounts of THC relative to the variety grown for marijuana or hashish. We use the entire plant because certain parts of the plant have stronger concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes than others.
Pure MCT Oil is used as a carrier. MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglycerides. Our MCT product is derived from coconut oil and has its own positive health benefits. MCT Oil has antibacterial and antiviral properties and is easily digestible, providing an excellent delivery system for CBD.

More about Critical Co2 Extraction:

This process uses carbon dioxide as a solvent to extract the oils from the plant. The process creates phase changes in Carbon Dioxide utilizing pressure and temperature. These phase changes create an environment to pull differing weights of components in the plant material. CO2 extraction is the cleanest, safest method for extracting plants and this maintains the purity of REST CBD.

Lab Tested:

Two tests are performed on our product: The first test is conducted on our raw CBD material prior to processing, verifying the Non-GMO and pesticide free criteria of our product. The second phase of testing is conducted on the finished product. We check for pesticides, residual solvents, microbial organisms, mycotoxins, heavy metals, and foreign materials.
The extra test taken is a complete panel of active cannabinoids and terpenes that are identified for each batch. The test will be able to determine which of the 26 known terpenes are found and in what concentration.

A Cannabinoid is one of a class of diverse chemical compound that acts on cannabinoid receptors in cells that alter neural transmitter release in the brain. CBD interacts with the brain receptors reducing feelings of pain or anxiety. The human body has an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that receives and translates signals from cannabinoids. The ECS helps to regulate functions such as sleep, immune system response and pain. Cannabinoid receptors are located throughout the body and are part of the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory. CBD itself activates or inhibits other compounds in the endocannabinoid system.
For example, CBD stops the body from absorbing anandamide, a compound associated with regulating pain. So, increased levels of anandamide in the bloodstream may reduce the amount of pain a person feels. CBD may also limit inflammation in the brain, body and nervous system, all of which can contribute to falling asleep faster and experiencing a deep, restful sleep.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes (fragrant oils) are large classes of molecules which are found in many plants that are known to provide medicinal effects. There are over 100 identified terpenes found in CBD The terpenes and the cannabinoids found in CBD provide an entourage effect.

What is Entourage Effect?

When the varieties of terpenes are combined with the cannabinoids, the combined effect of all the compounds of the whole plant are believed to have a greater therapeutic impact than each specific compound.

Why CBD instead of THC?

CBD is short for cannabidiol. It doesn’t act on CB1 or CB2 receptors, so it has much different effects than THC. Most notably, CBD does not cause a “high.” Instead, it’s well known for having a calming effect.
Researchers are still identifying which receptors CBD acts on, but they know a few of them. They know CBD interacts with a serotonin receptor called 5-HT1A, which could explain its anti-anxiety effects. They also know it interacts with receptors known as the vanilloid receptors, specifically one called TRPV1, which is known to influence the body’s perception of pain. Many reviewed clinical studies suggested that cannabinoids could improve sleep quality, decrease sleep disturbances, and decrease sleep onset latency.
